1. Who processes your data

This notice explains which personal data we collect when you visit elicandra.com, contact us, sell us a watch or buy one from us, and how we use it. The Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) applies and, for people located in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. What data we process and why
We only process the data needed for each activity. For visitors from the EU we also state the legal basis under Art. 6 GDPR.

We do not use your data for decisions based solely on automated processing and we do not sell it to third parties.
3. Cookies and Google Ads
Technical cookies. They are used to remember your choices and do not contain your name or any other data that identifies you.

Google Ads and conversion measurement (only with your consent). To understand whether our Google ads lead to valuation requests, we use the Google Ads tag (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC). When you click a WhatsApp button on the website, the tag tells Google that a contact took place. We do not send Google your name, your phone number or the content of your messages: WhatsApp opens as usual and your messages stay between you and us.
On your first visit the website shows a banner. Until you accept, the Google tag is not loaded and all advertising and measurement permissions stay denied (Google Consent Mode v2, basic mode: ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, analytics_storage). If you accept, the website loads the tag and Google may use the following cookies and identifiers:

If you reject, the website does not load the Google tag and sends nothing to Google, nor does it store these cookies.
How to withdraw or change your consent. At any time you can click “Cookie preferences” in the footer of any page of the website and change your choice: withdrawal applies from that moment. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings (the banner will appear again) and manage personalised ads in the ad settings of your Google account (adssettings.google.com).
4. Who we share data with
Your data is accessible only to Elicandra sa and to the providers that help us run our business, within what their service requires:

We may also disclose data to authorities (for example police, customs or tax authorities) when the law requires it, for instance to verify the origin of a watch.
5. Transfer of data abroad
Some providers process data outside Switzerland: Hostinger, with servers in Lithuania (EU). Google and Meta may also process data in the United States; in these cases the transfer takes place on the basis of the Data Privacy Framework (Switzerland–US and EU–US) and/or standard contractual clauses.
We transfer data to countries without an adequate level of protection only with appropriate safeguards, such as the standard contractual clauses recognised by the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) and by the European Commission, or the providers' certification under the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
6. How long we keep data
We keep data only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, or for as long as the law requires.

At the end of this period the data is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
You can ask us at any time, by writing to info@elicandra.com:
- to know which personal data we process about you and receive a copy (access)
- to correct inaccurate or incomplete data (rectification)
- to delete your data, except what we must keep by law (erasure)
- to restrict processing or object to processing based on our legitimate interest
- to receive the data you provided to us in a structured, readable format (portability)
- to withdraw at any time a consent you gave us, without affecting processing already carried out
We normally reply within 30 days. To protect your data we may ask you to prove your identity.
If you believe the processing of your data is not correct, you can lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Switzerland. If you are in the European Union, you can also contact the supervisory authority of your country, for example the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali in Italy.
8. Security and other information
Security. We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted connection (HTTPS), restricted, password-protected access to the management system, ID documents, signatures and accounting documents stored in areas of the server that are not accessible from the web, regular backups.
Mandatory data. To buy a watch from you we need to know your identity and the details of your ID document: without this data we cannot complete the purchase. For a simple request for information, the data you choose to give us is enough.
Automated decisions. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
Changes. We may update this notice when our activities or the law change. The current version is always published on elicandra.com.
Languages. This notice is available in Italian, English, French and German.
